About Humanimal

Humanimal.org is a volunteering platform envisaged by The Hermit Charitable Trust, Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India. It proposes to connect citizens, NGOs, veterinary professionals, and service providers so animals in distress can be supported quickly and compassionately.

The platform enables users to report injured or distressed animals, access veterinary consultation, receive AI-assisted guidance, and engage with a community of animal caregivers. The initial focus is on street dogs, with a long-term vision to support all animals through a scalable animal welfare ecosystem.

Humanimal.org does not involve itself in any financial activity whatsoever and does not charge any commission or fee from anyone.

Guidance, knowledge, and AI support

Humanimal includes an AI-aided space created by professional volunteers to help people find answers for common medical concerns. It is complementary to professional veterinary support, not a replacement for it.

Ideator: The Hermit Charitable Trust

Dharamshala, India

The Hermit Charitable Trust, Dharamsala (hermittrust.com) is a very small fledgling nunnery which focuses primarily on the spiritual growth of the inmates.

During the process of the spiritual practices the inmates voluntarily employ some time, energy and resources for giving back to the Nature & to the society by trying to conserve, protect and support the elements of Nature - especially the animals, vegetation & water - as well as by helping the local children evolve in life.

In this pursuit of the personal as well as collective growth, we understand the value of Interdependence, Symbiosis and the ideal of प्रतित्य समुत्पाद - the Dependent Origination as the pulse of every existence in the Universe. We believe, these are not merely spiritual ideals but the inevitable means for the peaceful existence and survival of life on the Planet.

Our effort through the App based platform Humanimal is a step forward to realize our ideals.
